Special Education Volunteer Attorney Training – Friday, April 11

by Alexa Drago on March 10, 2014

As the lead child advocacy agency in Colorado, the Children’s Law Center has expanded their services to include special education representation for low-income children with disabilities. Through this program, the Children’s Law Center offers free training and ongoing support for pro bono attorneys who advocate for children with disabilities. Without legal advocacy when it is needed, children risk falling even further behind, being unfairly suspended or expelled, and dropping out.

Help ensure that all children with disabilities are receiving appropriate educational opportunities and take part in the Children’s Law Center’s Special Education Volunteer Attorney Training, sponsored by Polsinelli.

Friday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Polsinelli
1515 Wynkoop Street, Suite 600
Denver, CO 80202

Lunch Provided, 6 CLE Credits Pending

RSVP by Friday, April 4kmelton@childlawcenter.org

This training is for attorneys who are interested in volunteering and is FREE for those who take a case or volunteer at a clinic in the next calendar year. For those who decide not to volunteer, there is a $150 fee.
