Casemaker4 Launch Announcement

by Alexa Drago on May 31, 2019

Beginning Monday June 3rd, bar members may enjoy free access to Casemaker4, the next generation legal research platform from Casemaker, which features a redesigned user interface and leverages improved search speed and more intuitive site navigation to deliver faster results.

“We are thrilled to announce the release of Casemaker4,” said Sarah Gorman, Chief Operating Officer at Casemaker. “The new platform is informed by several years of user feedback and an extensive beta testing process. The response from the last round of beta was overwhelmingly positive and we are extremely excited to now open up Casemaker4 to our entire subscriber base.”

Expanded feature functionality on Casemaker4 includes a new Alerts feature that enables you to have new developments in areas of interest delivered straight to your in box; an expanded Search Input Box with an Advanced Search option; predictive “Type Ahead” functionality; and the incorporation of intelligent algorithms to suggest related primary and secondary materials not previously displayed.

What hasn’t changed with the launch of Casemaker4? The expert care and handling of legal content by editorial staff that has long distinguished Casemaker among legal research providers. Now, with Casemaker4, you can get the best of both worlds: a much-improved platform with state-of-the-art functionality, and content your bar members can rely on with confidence.

To communicate this change to your members, the Casemaker team has prepared a variety of options, including videos, flyers and advertisements. Casemaker’s webinar schedule will be expanded and will include options for both new Casemaker users and those transitioning from our previous platform. You’ll hear more about this soon from Khristina Williams, Manager of Customer Support.

To ease transition, our previous platform will remain available to members so that they can choose when to transition to Casemaker4.
