Brush Up on Unbundling, File Retention, and Handling Information Overload

by Sara Crocker on October 26, 2011

Baby it’s cold outside. That first snow of the year can make some of us Coloradans yearn for those not-too-distant summer months.

In June, the Denver Bar Association filmed a number of free programs that offer information on new rules and law practice management. Though you can’t get CLE credit for them, it’s some good information to review on a cold, and generally quieter, office day.

Below are the three offerings: First, Colorado Office of Attorney Regulation’s Adam Espinosa presents on unbundled legal services, covering ethical considerations and best practices for billing. Next, his colleague Chip Mortimer offers information about the new file retention rule and recent changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct. Last, Alli Gerkman, a former CBA CLE staffer, offers tips on how to handle information overload, in and out of the office.
