Adding Blog and Media Content to Your Website

by Sara Crocker on February 8, 2012

Now that you’ve got most of the static pages of your WordPress website created (like your home page, attorney bio page, and practice areas page), you can start working on your Web 2.0 pages—those pages that you update regularly, helping your search engine optimization and moving you to the top of Google’s search rankings.

In the screencast below, Matt Willson will walk you through how to create a page for your blog posts. You’ll also learn how to add a sticky post (a welcome blog post that will remain at the top of your blog page) and other blog posts. He’ll also explain the importance of links, keywords, and photos in your blog posts.

And, if you’ve got other information you want to share with people who visit your site, such as articles you’ve written about your practice area, Matt will also show you how to add a page with those materials.
